The biggest lesson from the 2023-2024 price crash is that Tesla corporate controls the used market more than any other manufacturer. When they cut new car prices, every used Model 3 drops the same week. That volatility has stabilized, but it has not disappeared.
The second thing every Model 3 seller needs to know is about Full Self-Driving. You paid $8,000 to $12,000 for it. The market pays about $3,000 extra, and on many newer models it does not transfer at all. That is the single most common pricing disagreement I have with Model 3 sellers. Screen yellowing is common on early Model 3s. Tesla did a warranty repair program for some. If yours has it, I still buy the car. It is a cosmetic line item, not a structural problem.
